Sidebar Widget Formatting

    Hello

    Here’s one for the more masochistic!

    I have theme that is perfect for my needs with colored sidebar widget blocks. Thing is i want to show some images in the sidebar below the blocks or preferably in between such as this..

    Unfortunately when using my theme it looks awful as my block content has a dark blue background.

    is there a way to mess with the stylesheet or indeed the sidebar directly to either have a widget different from the others or to post directly to the sidebar?

    Any help appreciated

    you can edit sidebar background color in css file.

    You misunderstand, if you look at the screenshot provided you will see that i want to either…

    have the abilty to change a single widget’s formatting to be different from the others

    OR

    be able to put content in the sidebar not withing a widget

    In the screenshot I want to achieve the look where the social media images are. you can see the blocks created by widgets are dark and then the social media images appear between blocks with no formatting – in my case i would happily just have the abilty to post n the sidebar below widgets or above!!
