    Hello all,
I’m having trouble updating/deleting a certain page. When i try to update or delete the page I get a php-error in a new tab. Looking at the error, it relates to the Simpleviewer plugin that i’m using.

Anyway, since I have no use for the page, I was wondering how I could delete the page (so not a post) using phpmyadmin. Searching the forum I couldn’t find a solution for manually deleting static pages.

    Thnx in advance,
    elektronicat

  • Try deactivating the Simpleviewer plugin.

    hi,

I would suggest to not manually remove posts or pages using phpmyadmin!

post are the same as pages, only their type is different.
So if you find posts in the wp_posts table, you’ll also find the pages in there.

But why not use the pages section in your wordpres dashboard?
Maybe the page is in the trash and you can delete it from there.

It worked; I deactivated the Simpleviewer plugin, deleted the page and reactivated the plugin. Silly I didn’t think of such a thing myself..
    Thnx, both of you.
