reading settings – blog pages show at most – not working

    Hello, I had my blog’s “blog pages show at most” under “reading settings” set at 4. I then set it to 8, and it is now stuck there. I change the number, but 8 posts still appear.

    None of the posts are sticky, so that is not the problem.

    help please?

    Remember to press CTRL and F5 simultaneously when viewing an updated page/site. Or try emptying your browser cache. This should ensure that your web browser fetches a fresh copy of the page rather than serving up an out-dated copy from your own cache.

    Also disable/deactivate any caching plugin(s).

    Sadly there are no caching plugins, and I cleared browser cache as well to no avail.

    Check your theme’s index.php template file and see if it has a custom query.
