Folders for Media Library

Hello everyone. Man, I love WordPress! It has made my work much more inspiring and my tools more rich in possibilities with a lot fewer hassles and less tediuous work. Most of the time there is a Plugin for anything I want to do. One big problem and an opportunity for a plugin developer is this: The Media Library badly needs Folders. It would be a powerful tool to be able to separate Photos, from PDFs, from Soundclips…etc. If one has 50 photos, and 50 PDFs, and want to scan photos only easily without wading through PDFs or otherwise, it’s not convenient. If I put “JPG” in the search field, it doesn’t work. How about a plugin for that?!!!
