    OK, who cares about Google? With the extreme political bent they have taken with their news service I’ve sworn off anything to do with them.

    Ice Rocket forever!

    Nice buttons though!

    Thanks. And I haven’t noticed a political edge in their News coverage. Which way do you think it’s swaying?

    OT: Go look at why Google are calling Taiwan what they are, then find out who likes that name the most, then look at the huge untapped potential of China.

    With the extreme political bent they have taken with their news service I’ve sworn off anything to do with them.

    Umm, they aren’t a news agency, their news page is an aggregator. Kinda hard to have a bias when all you’re doing is gathering all of the news that you can from other sources…

    Welcome. =)

    Depends on where your sources are from: Drudge or The Daily Show….. Hannity, or Franken….. Dr. Laura or Dr. Phill….

    But that aside… how long before Google announces that they’ve been watching the feeds people use, and are now incorporating that into their marketing machine, and will soon be including targeted ads mixed into the feeds….

    I just had to come back to this thread after reading it originally three days ago. Up until about 10 minutes ago, Google News was bookmarked as my first click when I needed news.

    That was until as I scrolled the page, and noticed a link to what appeared to be nothing more than a personal blog. Clicking through, my theory was correct : a libertarian blog, and the actual content of the post was NOT news.

    So much for Google N E W S.

    Ironically, the blog is running an outdated exploitable version of WordPress.
