• I’m having a time figuring this out, maybe someone can help me with it.

I installed this WordPress theme: http://www.woothemes.com/2010/06/themorningafter/

and am trying to change the header link titles (under the search bar). There’s no option to do this, so I was looking at the CSS and PHP files to see if I could do it that way, but I can’t seem to find out what needs to be changed. I found a section of code with the links array that I changed, but that just made them disappear from the website. Anyone know why that might be ?

    here’s what I’m dealing with: http://www.addictedtonoise.net/wptest/

For more reference, this person was able to change his: http://youbeautifulbastard.be/

but viewing the source code for his page and mine, it doesn’t seem that different. His titles under the search bar are changed somewhere in the php files, not in the WordPress options. You can see the options for the header links here: http://ourthemes.blog.com/wp-content/bl … inks_0.jpg

You can only put in a url or text. Injecting HTML wrecks the entire structure, which is how I know he had his titles changed in the php files somewhere.

If I’m missing any information someone needs to help out, just ask.

  • Hey, I had the same question and found an answer on this page : http://www.dennislambing.com/2010/02/26/wordpress-zen-the-morning-after-theme/

To be more precise than they are, go into header.php and find this code.

[Code moderated as per the Forum Rules. Please use the pastebin]

    Hope this helps.

Hi. I have the same problem and I read the link of jjunkie but I did not understand where he should put the code in header.php, administrators have deleted the reference code for the forum rules. To avoid the same problem you can write me at overclockATemail.it? I would be very grateful!

Have found that the header links (in green icons) and Search bar only work in IE and not in firefox or chrome. Updating to the code referenced by jjunkie above has the same effect. If anyone has a fix I’d be most grateful to hear it!
