‘read more tags’

    Hi there, Im really new at all this, and Im having problems with the ‘read more’ tag.
    Ive browsed through some topics, but its all chinese to me.
    When I insert the tag into a post, nothing appears when I publish the post. Am I using it wrong? What am I supposed to do with it?
    Sorry, Im a real n00b, but Im trying to get it all down.

    Can someone explain really simple how I use it, and how I can maybe change what it says?

    It should be that you write stuff blahblahblahblah blahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblah then you insert the tag
    <– more –>
    blah some more blahblahblahblahblahblahblahblah

    and then your visitors see only whats above the –more– unless they click.

    Ive tries that and it doesnt work, it shows a blank line and then the rest like:

    blablablablablablabla
    blabllablablabla

    blablablabla
    blabalbalbla

    I dont get it 🙁

    ow never mind, god im stupid, its working now, but i swear to god it wasnt a minute ago…hmmm…weird…

    anyway, do you maybe know how I change what it says?
