Facebook sidebar has disappeared. Didn’t touch settings, just <poof> <gone>. Suggestions?

Now the FB sidebar is back. Would could cause the appear/disappear phenomenon?

Hi Guys, the file was hosted on a content distributed network and it should have kept redistributing but it seemed to have failed.
I have been internetless for a week or two and have just managed to get my site back up.
Hopefully this should resolve your issues and if it does not I will be here to help out now.
