How do I embed a swf object file

    I’m having difficulty embeding a swf object file and getting it to run? Any ideas how I can achieve this? I’ve spent all morning at it now and would just like to get it done!

    Where are you trying to add it (theme template file)? What code have you tried so far? Got a web link etc?

    Also one of these Plugins might help you:

    I’m trying to add it into a static page.
    I converted a power point presentation to swf then I uploaded a folder containing the index.swf file and all the slides etc to the usual wp-content/uploads/2010/09 location.

    I’ve tried using ‘Stream Video Player’ ‘Flash Video Player’ and now ‘Kimli Flash Embed’. All have resulted with a continuous loop telling me it is ‘initializing player’?

    I have found that the ppt to flash converter was useless. I have converted the file with different software and it’s now Ok.
