500 Internal Server Error

    I uploaded the info given to the wp-config and .htaccess files, and when I tried to log back in I got a 500 Internal Server Error:

    The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

    Please contact the server administrator, and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

    More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

    Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

    Any ideas of what I did wrong?

    Rename the .htaccess file to anything else. Does that resolve the problem?

    More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

    May want to check your logs. Chances are the error is in there. Copying and pasting that error would be helpful.
