[Plugin: Google Calendar Events] Excellent Plugin!

    This is an excellent plugin for anyone using Google Calendar to manage public events. I have two sites for a private school – both are able to link to the same Google calendar data and display on the site. Easy to manage and functions well with the latest version of WordPress. Great work!!

    One feature I would like to see is a way to link to the calendar page from the widget OR to advance the months in the widget. I have my calendars set up to NOT link back to Google calendar because it would cause more confusion in my user base. But I would like them to be able to get to the full calendar from the widget.

    I agree, this is the best Calendar plugin I have found so far. Administrating the Google Calendar is far more easy than registering the events in to WordPress data bases which is the principle with many other calendar plugins.

    Also a possibility for a link to WordPress page instead of calendar.google.com page would be preferred.

    “to advance the months in the widget” – just configure the widget to use AJAX.

    Allowing the ‘More Details’ link to point to something better than the Google Calendar page (ugh) for the event is definitely on my to-do list. I don’t have a huge amount of time to develop the plugin at the moment (new job!), but I’m working on it when I can.

    I really appreciate your feedback.
