  • dear redconservatory,

I went to your website and saw you have a working slideshow on the first page. Did u figure out how to solve the Vslider problem or just use another plugin? I know, it was ten months ago, but I’m just giving it a shot.

I have the same issue. I see the slider, the arrows, the dots, the whole thing, but no images, which would be fun when using an image slider.

I tried the plugin forum as well but haven’t heard anything so far,

Unless you provide a link to a page demonstrating the problem, no one will be able to offer much in the way of assistance.

    you are so right,

    Hi Jordas,

It’s been awhile but I remember that I got it working.

Basically when I unzipped the file it created a folder called vslider2.0 and I had to rename it to vslider.

The wordpress/php code references vslider, so anything named, say, vslider2 will not work and will cause images to disappear.

I suspect if it’s not this problem for you it’s something similar. Using firebug to locate the link the code was actually pointing to helped me A LOT.

    Best of luck!

    Hey Redconservatory,

You made my day! It wasn’t the exact same problem since I did not rename the vslider. But by firebugging I realised the timtumb makes a path to any folder in the contents folder. I had a custom folder for uploading images in the root. It just doesn’t link there if you don’t tell it how to…

Wow, how obvious….too obvious to figure it out…

    thanks again (:
