• Hello,

I am working on a client’s website and have successfully embedded the wordpress in the a page on the site. However I do have a couple questions I cannot seem to have an answer for. Once I installed wordpress on the host, I was trying to actually have it as part of a regular website page but using a theme to make it look good.

In other words i would like to embed the theme as it is on http://beverlyhillsphotographer.wordpress.com/

And put it right under the navigation bar on http://www.thebeverlyhillsphotographer.com/blog.php

As you can see the wordpress blog implement as part of the website but as a very basic and boring theme.

    Any help is appreciated

    Thanks,
    Joe.

  • i’m thinking….. maybe you can copy the header of your client’s website (everything from beginning to the navigation menu) and paste that code into the header.php of your wordpress blog.

Good idea i tried that but got some errors.

what errors did you get? did the page show up at all? i noticed that there are inline styles and scripts in the blog page. you need to copy those and paste in the right places in your header.php file, and be careful not to duplicate the head and body tags.

I have been fiddling with it, got it to somewhat work but it changes the theme too much.

Is there not a simpler way to embed the blog along with its theme on an existing page?

    Thanks again for your help
