Jquery not working because of permalinks

Hi everybody,

I have implemented a jquery menu into my blog. The jquery code is used to replace the second level li’s to span. (see this topic for the more details about that menu)
Now.. at first it worked on the homepage without any problem. But when I went to another page the jquery code didn’t change the html. I found out that when I changed the permalink to default (www.site.com/?p=123), the jquery code works fine!

Anybody knows why this is, I really like to have nice links.
