Post showing in Slider Gallery…

    Hi all,

    I purchased a template from themforest that I really like. So far all has been going well with implementation. I have come to a point however when posting all posts show up in my slider when I don’t have the slider category chosen. No where on my post is the slider category selected and it’s not defaulted in the settings panel.

    What am I doing? Is there a gliche in the template? Need to get this resolved as I can not post a thing with it displaying in the slider.

    Any help on this is totally appreciated.

    No one will know that template better than the company who made it for you…I would go directly to them and ask what is wrong….

    You can go to ‘Setting’ and then find the slider plugin and look for a setting that might be doing this…but I would still recommend going to your provider.

    Totally agreed Tom but it seems he has not been getting back to me. It seems he thinks my problem is simple and doesn’t want to look at it more closely which is why I am here. I will try to reach out again and hope that I can get him to help me on this. If not I’ve just wasted money for on this template.

    first create category for sliding option. Then put a post in that category. Now go to your slider option through admin and set that category as slider.

    Hi chinmoy and thanks for your feedback. It’s exactly what I have done and at this point have decided it’s a bug in the programming. There are five choices of “Sliders” to choose. 4 of them work properly but the one I really want to use displays every post from every category, chosen or not.

    I just emailed the Author again so will wait it out and see what happens.

    Wow…No response from the author of the template so i guess I am on my own. Any help on this would be great.

    Hi all,

    I am still having an issue with an image gallery showing posts that are not selected from my categories. Any ideas as to why this would be? There are 5 different image galleries, 4 of which work well, the one I want is the one that shows all post.

    Any help is always appreciated…
