adding a col to sidebar in twentyten

    I’m modding the twentyten theme and would like to create a column (holding static content and a search box) to the right of the sidebar. I’m still using the get-sidebar call and want to keep using it so the client can move widgets in and out.

    Basically, I have made the sidebar wider and want to split it in two equal cols: left for primary/seconday widgets; and right for the static content and a search box.

    I can’t start over with a 3 col layout as too much has been hacked in this one.

    Any suggestions?
