• It looks like all my settings/options were wiped after the last upgrade plugin. Did this happen to anyone else?

Ok now the plugin is randomly wiping all my settings even though there was no plugin update. This is unacceptable!

Just to clarify, the plugin isn’t wiping your settings. What’s happening is that something is deleting/truncating part of the plugin’s options data in the database. When this happens, PHP can’t “open” the data, so SEO Ultimate starts over from scratch to avoid crashing your site.

My guess is something in your site’s configuration doesn’t like the large amount of data that SEO Ultimate needs to store (since SEO Ultimate has so many features, it has to store the data for lots of options). Here are some ways you can cut down on the amount of data that the plugin stores:

    • Try clearing the 404 Monitor log and disabling 404 logging
    • Try deleting the stopwords list in the Slug Optimizer module

I’m working on a way to restructure SEO Ultimate to bypass this issue, but the 2 workarounds I listed should help for now. If you continue to run into this problem, let me know.

I disabled a bunch of the modules including the 404 but not the stopwords. I’ll post back if it happens again. Thanks for your reply.

i disabled modules and saved changes. Then I clicked away and then back to the module page and magically, all the modules are enabled again. Not good.

Well the latest update once again wiped all my options. This is very annoying. At least add a export/backup option so I don’t have to manually enter options every time this happens.

At least keywords weren’t erased. That would have been a big problem since I have thousands of posts with manually entered keywords since this plugin STILL doesn’t auto-generate them.

Wow my options were just wiped AGAIN. What’s going on with this plugin? Please fix it ASAP!

Also Modules keep resetting so all of them are on instead of saving the ones I disabled.

So what’s going on with the fix for this? Big problem.

Is there no one watching these forums?

My options get reset at least a few times a day. This is very bad.

You should probably post your problem here as it looks like the author of the plugin gets back to people:

the settings are not being saved 🙁

are there any workaround to this problem?
