javascript in pages

    i have some javascript coding inside a mail form placed in a page that references a js file in the header

    the code should look something like this “fname”
    but for some reason in wp it gets converted to this & #8221; fname & #8221;

    are the quotes not permitted in pages ?

    I guess more appropriately, how to use <javascript> code inside wp pages the quotes specificly

    managed to get it working by placing the page code into an external file then inserting a js link where the code was in the page, only the link doesn’t work with the wp php link to stylesheet dir function so i just used the standard wp-content/ url it works great
