WordPress.com Stats plugin – stats from old blog

    I’m new to having my blog here at wp.org and I downloaded the wordpress.com stats plugin. I thought it would transfer the stats from my old wordpress.com stats here to my new blog.
    Is that wrong? Or did I just not do something right? I put <?php wp_footer(); ?> code in the footer like I was told.
    The graph is showing up on my dashboard but I thought it would have my old stats on it and it doesn’t.

    I would really love to know this too as I am also moving over from WordPress.com and would like to “bring” my old stats with me. Is there anyway to import/migrate them?

    If not – is there anyway to set a ‘starting number’ for the counter? I was told you could do that with other plugins like Sitemeter.
