• I setup a CRON job to update my links, but get either of the following two error messages:

    ERROR 1
Warning: fsockopen(): unable to connect to api.pingomatic.com:80 in /home/USERNAME/public_html/wp-admin/update-links.php on line 26
ERROR 2

An Error Occurred

An Error Occurred

    500 read timeout

Does this have something to do with the job I setup or something more to it?

Thanks for the info. As this was the first time I had setup something like this… wasn’t too sure what was causing the problem (especially with the two different errors).

Is a fix expected anytime soon now? My mailbox is filling kinda fast, so I’m thinking I might hack out the error message otherwise.
