Permalink Structure under Mac OS X APache

I am trying to tweak my WP site before I launch it to my web host. I have set up the environment corrrectly on my local machine running OS X and Apache. Everything is working well, however I can not seem to get permalinks to work. I removed the “#”‘s from all referances of Mod_rewrite and it still is not working. Yes I restarted Apache several times.

I did however set up a simple site on my webhost and it is working there. Can someone help me get this running? Thanks!
