[Plugin: NextGen Gallery] Remove break after singlepic

    Hi there

    I’ve done some searching, and have yet to find anyone who is in the same boat as me. Basically, I’m using [ singlepic ] to manually generate a gallery for my client (yes, I’m aware there is a gallery option; no, it’s not sufficient for their needs; yes, singlepic is what I’m looking for). It’s exactly what the client wants, with one small problem: there is a <br /> being generated after each image.

    When I float the images, it causes the content area to shrink, so whilst it puts the images side-by-side, it’s not what I want. I’m trying to find where the <br /> is being generated, so I can comment it out.

    Does anyone have any suggestions as to where I can look?

    I am looking for this exact info. Were you able to figure it out?

    I’ve setup custom templates using [ singlepic ] and it works BEAUTIFULLY except for that darn <br /> that is generated somewhere in the code. It’s not part of the singlepic view template but I don’t know where to find it to remove it.

    Can anyone please help???

    I’ve been searching and haven’t found where the line break is inserted yet. I only code html/css so it’s very time consuming trying to find it and hope someone can help with this! TIA!

    It seems that I’m in the same boat as well and have tried hard to get rid of this fu*#?!+ line break <br />, I spend already hours to find where it’s getting injected, but unfortunately without much success !

    Have you jpearson and Angeltown made any progress yet?

    Hi Dirk,
    Sorry – just saw your reply. No, I wasn’t able to figure out where in the world that line break is generated. *SIGH*
    I have found that if the 1st image in the series is full width, the other floated images following it flow beautifully without that annoying bump.
    For now I’m just making sure to keep a full width pic above any string, but I would DEFINITELY APPRECIATE IT if someone could determine where that
    is generated.
