Links Categories/Image Advance?

Hi,

I was wondering if there is such a plugin or if anyone is working on it to allow an admin create a new sub-category under the primary category for links? It is the same idea as the post categories, but this time, for links.

Plus, isn’t there a way that we can upload image while adding new link at the same time rather than copy and paste in the Image Address under “Advanced”?
