wp-includes/taxonomy.php error after 3.0 update

    Had this problem after updating to 3.0. Got back to 2.9x and it’s working fine.

    Tested a new install of 3.0 and imported info from other site. worked fine until I changed the theme.

    Tried again on a test site and it updated successfully, so it said, but errors when reloading the page and then the wp-admin errors the same.

    Now I get this same error again:

    Fatal error: Call to a member function add_rewrite_tag() on a non-object in /home/upsta11/public_html/test/wp-includes/taxonomy.php on line 289

    How do I get rid of this taxonomy error?
