4.1.1 and blank screen

    I’ve been working on a new blog/site linked to orderofgallifrey.com and my first pages I’ve created have blank pages. The host for the url above is hostgator and I have removed and reinstalled 4.1.1 3x. I’ve also tried some of the other fixes and they did not work. I’ve also tried no widgets or plugins installed with a simple post and it also gets a blank page.

    I’m not using ftp to make changes/upload new pages but the wp gui.

    Oh, I also get the blank page when I try to preview any of my new pages.

    Where is the WP site installed?

    I’m not sure what you’re asking. I’ve not used FTP in years. Please consider me an absolute n00b.

    The site is http://orderofgallifrey.com/. I started the installation from hostgator’s cpanel, so all the files were successfully installed in the public_html/ folder.

    I’m attempting to use theme twenty-fourteen too.

    Do you have any plugins active? You should not be getting this kind of installation failure repeatedly on a brand new site. Have you asked HostGator about this?
