• hi
    thanks for your plugin
i’ve been using it for 2 or 3 weeks already, and it’s helping a lot
although it takes a lot of time to load and it has some problems like when i want to do a thumbnail of an image that’s not added to the post then i have to add it, and then delete it. u know, some times the posts have thumbnails of photos that are not on the posts.
and sometimes it takes ages for the photos to load to go from the step 1 to the 2nd step. i hope that you can fix it soon, i have no idea why it happens, or how to help you to do so, but i hope is possible to make it work better
i thought also, that an option to make it easier, is to use the same idea as used on the plugin Frontpage-Slideshow… it loads the images linked to the posts, but in case it doesn’t load them, it has an additional field where one can add manually the url of the image that you want to use.
so i thought, you could add a 4th step to your 3 steps process to set the thumbnail, between the 1st step and the second, you already have, then the option to add the url of the image we want to crop, but manually, so it won’t loose time looking by itself for the image, and it won’t be necessary to add the image to the post if one doesn’t want it on it.

if i can help in any way, please let me know.i’ll be glad to do it

    thanks

  • Hi guys, I known how to repair this plugin under WP 3.0.x ! The new WP system for “loop” (aka loop.php) not provide automatic access to global vars. You just need to add “GLOBAL $Wppt;” before to request “$Wppt->get_post_thumbnail(…)”. Not need this fix into “Single” template 😉
