Is there a way to show a posts attachments in a widget?

I’m working on a website, where I’m attaching files (PDF’s, etc) to posts. Each posts has a different potential attachment. I though there was a way to dynamically show the posts attachments in the sidebar, but did not see a solution in my search.

Is there a way to dynamically show attachments in widgets? Along with choosing specific attachments? (For instance if I only want to show PDF’s opposed to all of the websites attachments)
