redirecting/moving wordpress to different domain in same account directory | WordPress.org

hi

i have installed wordpress at the root folder of a domain and would like to redirect so that it resolves to another domain in the same account [dreamhost]. can i use the instructions for Giving WordPress its Own Directory?

if not can anyone direct me to the instructions i should follow?

I would think you would move WP to another folder on your host, point the new domain at it and follow this

at least thats how I did it when I moved a WP install from being on a subdomain on my domin to its own domain, on the same host

thanks 🙂 i have moved from wp from sub-domain to root directory [which i believe is what you’re describing]. i’m hoping for information as to whether there are considerations particular to redirecting/moving to a different domain.
