    Hi,
I have a wordpress site that uses the custom permalinks plugin.
When I type a url for a non-existent post or page on this site, it gives me a 404 page. However, if the wrong url that I've typed in has a question mark or numbers in it, it gets redirected to home page. How do I prevent redirection to home page for 404 urls?
For example http://www.nriol.net/abcd goes to a 404 page. But http://www.nriol.net/?abcd does not go to a 404 page.Instead it gets redirected to the home page. How do I prevent redirection to home page for these 404 pages?
    Thanks!
