 * Hello,
    I have this problem, if CPTui is active and I update the permalinks,
   with simply “Post Name”, all the pages go to 404.
 * On the other hand, with the “Simple” permalink option, the pages work.
 * I have the latest version of wordpress and I have done several tests, with “Twenty
   Twenty” theme and only CPTui active, but the problem remains.
 * Currently the only solution I could find to use permalinks with “Post Name”,
   was to deactivate the plug-in.
 * If you need it, I can send you the accesses to the environment where I did the
   tests.
 * Greetings

 * What’s the post type slug being used?

 * Hi,
    I created several custom post types:
 * “service”, “year”, “application”, “plus” and “application_category”.
 * I renamed and migrated the slug for CPTs and now it works.
 * What was the problem? are there any “forbidden” slugs?
    thanks for the assistance.

 * Not officially in terms of reserved slugs. The only ones I know of that are formally
   documented are at [https://developer.wordpress.org/reference/functions/register_post_type/#reserved-post-types](https://developer.wordpress.org/reference/functions/register_post_type/#reserved-post-types)
 * I could see “year” being troublesome as I think that could run foul with date
   based queries. The rest all look fine.
 * Nonetheless, it sounds like you’re back in a good place overall with this.
