    Hi Edo888,

The 404 page generated for our website displays the complete language drop-down sub-menu based on the languages we selected for translation. Click here for screenshot.

How can we prevent or stop our 404 page from doing this? All other menu items don’t do this.

    Thank you!

    Hi,

I think you need to create another menu without Global menu item, which needs to be displayed on your 404 error pages instead of the current menu.

    Thanks! 🙂

Not sure we understand. Can you clarify your statement? Thank you!

As I understand you want sub-items of Global to disappear from your 404 error pages.

For that, you need to create a completely new menu in your wordpress, which will be a copy of the menu displayed without Global element, so you can configure your 404 page to display the newly created menu.

If you need something else, please clarify.

    Thanks! 🙂

Thank you. OK, we knew that. What we’d like to know is why your plug-in is the only one that causes this?

All other menu sub-items work fine on our 404 page. Besides deleting Global from our menu, any codes we can use to keep your menu sub-items from appearing on our 404 page?

Meanwhile, we’ll explore other ways to do this.

    Again, thank you.

    Hi,

It is designed to render the sub-menus under Global item.

If you wish you can dig into the codes, to check if it is 404 page before rendering the sub-menu items.

    Thanks! 🙂

    Hi Edo888,

We found a solution (without changing the Main Menu). It worked (click here).

Our website uses Avada Theme. The Avada (WordPress) path to fix the problem is:

WordPress Dashboard > Appearance > Menus > Create a New Menu > 404 Useful Pages

Hopefully, above will help both you and other forum readers.

    Cheers.
