# 404 on update

 * Every time I try to update from version 1.4.1 I get a wordpress 404. This has
   gone on for months, with every version of WP.

 * Could you try deleting the plugin directory (see below) manually and then install
   the plugin from withion the WordPress admin interface?
 *     ```
       /wp-content/plugins/creative-commons-configurator-1
       ```
   
 * This probably happens because the user that runs your wordpress (through the 
   web server) does not have enough permissions to delete the files on the filesystem.
