Getting “400. That’s an error. Error: redirect_uri_mismatch” from the final step in the authorization for this plugin. Client ID and Client Secret entered properly and saved. The link to complete the authorization is clicked, then I get the 404.

    So what’s wrong here?

    Hi,

The 400 ‘redirect_uri_mismatch’ error indicates that the ‘Authorised Redirect URIs’ field was not set correctly when setting up the OAuth credentials (See Step 4 of this guide).

Could you check that this field is correct?

As the uri was copied directly from the result Google gave me (about 3 attempts, including a complete do-over and being careful not to accidentally get leading/trailing spaces,) I’d have to say there is little doubt it was correct.

    Hi,

Please can you send us screenshots of 1) your settings in Google Drive, and 2) the setting that UD advises you to use and 3) the error message from Google?

    Many thanks,
    David

    Send it where?

You can just post links to any screenshot service, e.g. https://snag.gy

So let me be clear on this. You’re asking me to post images of my OAuth client id and secret codes in a public forum?

No; UpdraftPlus uses a starred field for the client secret.

We don’t need to see your client ID or secret anyway. So, you can leave those out of the screenshot.
