  • I played with the settings and got it to work with a different slug. Tested again with the one above and breaks again so something in the slug is causing it (removed -podcast and its fine now).

With the current version of podPress it is unfortunately necessary save the Permalink settings after changing the slug name or activating a podPress feed in order to make URLs in a non-default Permalink scheme work.
    I think this is why
    http://www.fasttracksites.com/feed/seo-tips-podcast/
    has not worked.
But currently it seems that no there exists no feed with this slug name (maybe it is deactivated). I think that because if I open the feed URL written in the default Permalink scheme http://www.fasttracksites.com/?feed=seo-tips-podcast then I get the typical error message

ERROR: seo-tips-podcast is not a valid feed template.

[…](removed -podcast and its fine now).

There is no fundamental problem with the previous slug name. (removed -podcast and its fine now). seo-tips-podcast should usually work.
But I’m not sure what happens when you have categories or tags which which have comparable slug names.

Thanks for the reply, I had saved permalinks several times with the first name and it had no effect but since it’s working with the new link I’ll leave it that way.

    Thanks!

    Okay.

But I took the slug name seo-tips-podcast and made a test in my blog and I had no problems making the feed work.
If you like to use the previous slug name then we could try a little bit more in order find out why it does not work in your blog.
What happens when you attach -podcast again and open the feed URL http://www.fasttracksites.com/?feed=seo-tips-podcast in your browser? Which error message do you see?

It’s working now after switching again, I don’t know what was up before. Thanks!
