    its urgent,
it keeps querying the disk, and puts our cpu at a higher load than we would like to have

    please fix this

    Hey @saveatrain,

Can you please disable the “AutoOptimize” and any other caching plugins and update us so we can test again?

    (@saveatrain)

i already emptied autoptimize , this is why I say its a new thing
and something that didn’t exist before the latest update

I actually went through winscp to this directory
    /wp-content/plugins/mailchimp-for-wp/assets/css/

and I saw this file is missing there
    form-basic.min.css

the only file in this directory is bar.css

Can you please delete the Mailchimp for WordPress plugin and then install it again from the WordPress repository? Your settings will still be there after you do this.

    Does that solve the problem?

    (@saveatrain)

i prefer not to delete it,
can you please share a link to download the zip file, and I will override the plugin directory with the zip file?

    Plugin Contributor Lap

    (@lapzor)

You can of course download the zip here: https://wordpress.org/plugins/mailchimp-for-wp/

However, if that doesn’t work I still recommend deleting and reinstalling to make sure you have a fresh / unmodified copy of the plugin. Your settings are in the database, not in the files so they won’t be touched.

Hope that helps. If you have any questions, please let me know!

    (@saveatrain)

first, i was speaking about the plugin:
    https://wordpress.org/plugins/mailchimp-top-bar/

and you sent me the wrong link

secondly, I downloaded the zip file and extracted it, and even in it, I didn’t find
    form-basic.min.css
    only
    bar.css

I went to my plugin on the WordPress and renewed the lists of audience and I saw it was updated correctly

so I really don’t understand where this form-basic.min.css is coming from

    Plugin Contributor Lap

    (@lapzor)

It’s the correct link. Top-bar is an add-on to MC4WP and the missing file is part of MC4WP and that has the mentioned file in it.

If you look carefully you can see it in the 404 error as well: “/plugins/mailchimp-for-wp/”

That is also why a few posts back I asked you to delete and re-install the Mailchimp for WordPress plugin, not the top-bar add-on.

    Thread Starter saveatrain

    (@saveatrain)

i checked your download and checked my plugin and they are match

    I can see the file
    form-basic.css

    BUT NOT
    form-basic.min.css

    so where is this form-basic.min.css
    is ccoming from?

    Plugin Contributor Lap

    (@lapzor)

Please follow the instructions givens above and then we can investigate further from there if needed.

Don’t forget to clear up/renew your server sided caches including the CDN after reinstalling the MC4WP plugin.

    Thank you.

    Thread Starter saveatrain

    (@saveatrain)

ok, i cleared wp-optimize and autoptimize and i still get this in the traffic inspector of wp-cerber

do you want to access my admin and see if you can find the problem

    Plugin Contributor Lap

    (@lapzor)

Sure, if you like we can take a look. You can send us a link to this thread on support at mc4wp.com

    Thanks Lap,
    Just sent you an email
