404 in network admin

  • Hello,

    Google Analyticator generates a 404 in the network admin because it makes an ajax request to ‘admin-ajax.php’ instead of /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php’.

    I think the path just needs to be updated in google-analytics-summary-widget.php line 128, or perhaps that javascript should just not be emitted when the user’s in the network admin?

  • Hello,

    I’ve got the same error with the same version of the plugin. Error message is:

    script not found or unable to stat: /path_from_the_root/wp-admin/network/admin-ajax.php

    The function getAnalytics() in the google-analytics-summary-widget.php has this file name (line 128).

    url: 'admin-ajax.php',

    Plugin seems to add the current slug to this file name. So we get the result:

    Admin Dashboard: wp-admin/admin-ajax.php (works OK)
    Network Admin Dashboard: wp-adimn/network/admin-ajax.php (gives Error)

    I’m doing workaround like below:

    url: <?php if (is_network_admin()) { echo "'../admin-ajax.php'"; } else { echo "'admin-ajax.php'"; } ?>,

    But there must be better ways because network admin doesn’t need dashboard widget.
    Any ideas?

    Will this issue be addressed at some point?

    Same problem here. Very annoying.
