Support » Plugin: Multiple Domain Mapping on Single Site » 404 if trailing slash is omitted

  • Resolved Deb

A few months ago, a user identified issues – a 404 error page – with the URL for a post/page generated when using the Multiple Domain Mapping Single Site plugin.

    Here’s the thread:

In your reply, you suggested setting up another fresh WordPress install. Just so you know, I am experiencing the same problem.

If the trailing slash is inadvertently omitted from a URL that is pasted into a browser to a page/post created with the used (new) domain, the result is a 404 error. Of course, links clicked within the site function as they should.

Wanted to ask if, perhaps, there were any updated suggestions to correcting this problem?

    Thank you.

we are working on a new release in the next weeks and will check it again. as i pointed out in that other thread, we could not see that issue in our testing environments. but we understand that it is very likely a real problem, if another user does see it again 😉

trailing slashes should be no more problem in v1 which has just been released 🙂
