404 Errors after permalink change…

Getting “404 Error – File Not Found.” on my post…http://aboutinternetetc.com/security-with-microsoft-security-essentials.html
My website is: About Internet Security Etc.
The post with this error is: http://aboutinternetetc.com/security-with-microsoft-security-essentials.html this url has the “.html” at the end of the slug string.
Actually, when I remove the “.html” from the url, it shows fine without the error. How did it happen that now there is the “.html” at the end of the slug?
I checked the actual slug and it is not a part of the title for the post.??? The “.html” is not shown as being a part of the slug for the post.
This seems to have begun shortly after I changed the permalink settings to Custom Structure > http://aboutinternetetc.com/%postname%/
from “Dan and name” setting.So I am lost. Can anyone lend some advice?
