    We’re trying to add an item to the BP menu and when I publish the item, it all seems to work perfectly.

    However, when I click the link in the user profile to see the new tab I’ve added, I get a 404 error. This happens no matter what content I put in the tab, if I lock or unlock for groups, and if I’m logged into other users. Am I missing something in the setup? I don’t even get anything in the error log, just the 404 in the access logs. Thanks!

  • I discovered the slug matched that of another page on a different menu in the profile. Renaming the page caused the 404 to stop.

    First of all, I’m very sorry for the delayed response. I just got back from my own wedding and thus have a huge backlog of work 😰

    I’m glad that you were able to narrow down the issue and solved it by yourself, kudos! I’ll also test similar scenarios and try to implement a better error reporting system in similar cases.
