# 404 Error wp-admin/

 * Hi all, i just updated to 6.4
 * I noticed on all 5 sites, i can login but when it redirects to admin dashboard
   i get a 404 error.
   Home page works fine just back end.example.com/wp-admin/ is
   the login but gives 404, if i add wp-admin/index.php is shows the dashboard.I
   have disabled pluginsI have changed themessame.

 * That’s indeed a weird error. Sorry to hear about the troubles.
 * Quick question: If you go to `wp-admin/index.php` are you able to access the 
   rest of WP-Admin without errors, or are you still facing troubles?
 * If everything is working fine, could you navigate to **Settings > Permalinks**
   in your WordPress dashboard, and try temporarily changing the permalink structure
   to another option, and save the changes? Ideally this should fix the issue. You
   can then revert to your earlier permalink structure.

 * have tried changing Permalinks no different.
 * Just to be clear it’s just the landing page for admin.
   The rest is as it should
   be.

 * Ok, got it sorted…
 * It was a plugin on another site effecting all 5 sites (all sub domains) 
   So if
   a plugin brakes a site it kills every site on that hosted account? wonderful!
