# 404 error when trying to post

 * I am currently on a month long RV trip. I have been blogging the trip everyday
   from various hotspots. Yesterday I was doing my nightly blog and half way through
   I started geting 404 errors. I had uploaded my images to my gallery first – worked
   aok. Then I update my map – AOK. then I wrote out the days post – aok, then I
   tried to add the days images to the post. No go. I get the following error now
   whenever I try to post or upload anything…
 * _404 – Not Found_
 * The page you are trying to access does not exist.
 * If this error persists, please contact the website webmaster.
 * If you are the webmaster of this site make sure that: •You have uploaded correctly
   your files to the public_html directory which is the web-root of your account;
   •
   You have not misspelled the URL. Bear in mind that letters are case sensitive
   and no blank spaces are recommended; •In case you have applied SEO – SEF URL 
   rewrite rules, make sure you have renamed the htaccess.txt file to .htaccess.
   If there is already a non-empty .htaccess file, check it and make sure the necessary
   rules are uncommented.
 * I had not updated anything during my trip, but since this error starting I updated
   my plugins and my wordpress version, this has not helped. I have also tried different
   themes, this does not help either.
    Could this issue be becasue of a hotspot 
   I logged into? I’m at a loss here, and can’t blog at all anymore. I can access
   all my admin stuff, I just can’t post or upload any images.

 * **I’d like to add that I was just able to upload my pics into my nextgen gallery
   no problem, and I updated my google map with today’s marker, so all that is working.
   It appears I can also create a new page, but whenever I click the post button
   I get the 404 error.
