Hello, receiving a 404 error message, details below:

    On this page:
    http://2e8.bbe.myftpupload.com/calendars/parties-for-a-cause/

Looks great, however, when I click on the month range box appearing above the poster board layout, I get the following error when I click on a specific numeric day in the pop-up calendar selector.

Something went wrong while fetching events.
    The request status is: 404
The error thrown was: Not Found

    NOTE:
I’ve followed the trouble shooting steps to determine if there is a plugin or theme conflict. After turning off all plugins and siting to twenty-fourteen them, the following issue persists

  • Hi,

    Do you use cache plugin?

No cache plugin, however, this is a managed wordpress site on godaddy and they have an ‘flush cache’ feature in the admin panel.

Is it possible to disable this “flush cache” feature?

I checked with Godaddy and their flush cache feature is not part of the wordpress admin environment and cannot be disabled. If this is a big issue, is there any way to just disable the calendar pop-up?

    1. Make sure that your Calendar page is set to the right page in the settings.
    2. No need to use shortcode on a page set as the default in the plugin settings.
    3. Try turning on/off “Strict compatibility content filtering” in Events -> Settings –> Viewing Events.
    4. Try turning on/off “Use frontend rendering” and “Use advanced JS cache” in Events -> Settings –> Advanced.

Thank you very much. Turning on ‘Strict compatibility content filtering’ did the trick!

I am having a similar problem… after i create an event on the calendar and then click the event on the calendar i get a 404 error…with /?instance_id=27 at the end of the url. the id # changes depending the event you created. i have to go into the other events menu and create an event page and title with the same event title then that page will come up instead of a 404… i have to create an event twice? once in the calendar events and one in theme events?

If i just create an event in the wp events it does not show up on the calendar.

click on all you can bowl..i did not create an additional event page…
