I think that pages and posts are stored in different places in the database – so just giving the same title wont fix your problem.
When you click on the old links – you get a 404?

Hi,
I didn’t give same title to fix the problem. The problem arose when I deleted pages and created posts with the same title.
For example there was a page http://www.mysite.com/article, I deleted this page, then I created a post as http://www.mysite.com/article.
And there is no old links.
and you have PUBLISHED the new posts with the same name?
What happens when you click on ‘view post’?

Surprisingly, when I login to admin panel the post links work fine and there is no 404 error. However, if I am not logged in the links do not work and give a 404 error. First time stumbling something like this.
