404 error on pages due to child theme file

    Hi everyone, I’m having an issue and it’s that somehow my functions.php or my single-catalogo.php file on my child theme is breaking the PERMALINK structure of my site and every once in a while my pages show a 404 Error Page. Changing the permalink structure to DEFAULT fixes this but this is bad because i need the Post permalink structure. Does anyone know why this is happening?

    Please help! i have been days trying to figure this out. my site is: bibliadeldiscipulo.net when you click on Authors you will see what im talking about.
