404 Error on live pages

Hi, I recently moved my WP site to a new server, it’s a v.small test site with only three pages. I backed up the site before moving it, and did a back-up restore. The homepage is there, but the other 2 pages get a 404 msg. The weird thing is that the 2 missing pages are listed in the dashboard, and when I go in to edit them, the html is all there, but when I go to view page I get the 404 msg.

Additionally, when I create a new top level to try and replace the old one, the top navigation alters the url to the new one, but again I get a 404 error.

Any help much appreciated on this one as I don’t even know where to start to fix this.
