# 404 error on commenting

 * Hi all,
 * I’ve spent days trying to figure out just what the heck was wrong with my blog’s
   comment section. Out of nowhere, it has started to show the 404 error whenever
   someone submits a comment. i have looked all over d wordpress support section
   and tried just about everything mentioned here.
 * Can sumone please give me some fresh ideas? Thanks for listening to my rant!

 * Hi,
 * Try following suggestions:
 * 1.Turn the permalinks to default and save it and then switch to your custom permalinks
   settings again.
 * 2.Make sure you wp-comments-post.php exists in your WordPress directory.
 * 3. Try .. Go to settings >> Discussion and uncheck “break comments into pages”.
   If these solutions do not work for you, try basic troubleshooting like disabling
   all plugins and activating them one by one and switch back to default theme.

 * Hey, thanks for dropping in.
 * I have tried all of these and more…. a long time back now. Permalinks, plugins,
   breaking comments, adding some code to comments.php, removing some code.just 
   about everything. Still hoping for something untried tht may work.
