404 Error not working in IE, I’ve tried the fixes…

    I can’t seem to get my 404 page working in IE. I’ve fixed the 512 bytes size problem by adding my favorite Pearl Jam lyrics in the comments. 🙂 IE still doesn’t want to see my custom 404 page. I tried changing my .htaccess (outside the #wordpress section) but when I save it with the added ErrorDocument 404 /index.php?error=404, I get a 500 internal server error.

    I’m thinking it could be a server deal, but I wouldn’t know why. Can anyone help me out?
