404 error for site back-end

    @exchequer598

    I’ve been running a WP 3.0 site here at http://inversekarma.in. I added multiple site support by editing the wp-config file. Also, I wanted to use the subdirectory scheme over subdomains. I did read the warning that it would break permalinks, but isn’t (almost) anything possible with .htaccess?

    So I went ahead by creating a new website, http://inversekarma.in/shutterscape. Now there are two problems with this new website.

    1. The page is looking weird. Looks like the CSS is getting stripped.
    2. Trying to go the backend (http://inversekarma.in/shutterscape/wp-admin) throws up a 404 error.

    Please help me fixing this issue!

    It’s your .htaccess file. Either it didn;t get put in there right or it;s not being read correctly.
