# 404 error code

 * I am sure this question has been asked but I cannot find it. I recently moved
   from blogger to wordpress and I am now being hosted on GoDaddy. I have been googling
   to find an answer on my own but I do not understand any of it. I an hoping someone
   can help me in English to tell me what to do and how to do this. I did the switch
   myself by the importer plugin and it went very well. I do a lot of giveaway posts
   where I insert the link to my review in the post. When people click on the link,
   they are getting 404 error code-page not found. Sometimes it works for me and
   most times it does not work. Is there a plugin I missed or do I need to do something
   to change the links from blogger to wordpress? Am I making sense?

 * All your links in the give aways section go to linkz.com and 404. Are they supposed
   to go there?

 * No they are not. I noticed that too but I do not know how to give them WordPress
   permalinks or if that is even possible. It seems any links for posts that were
   written on blogger have the 404 code

 * I just looked. The theme I have now only allows for 3 pages. I thought you meant
   my reviews page(where they all do show 404) but I have been fooling around with
   the permalinks dashboard and I switched it to tpankuch.com/?/p=# but doing that
   messes up my giveaway page by showing 404 and I do have it set up through inlinkz
   which benefits others by being able to post their giveaways. I just wrote a sponsored
   post under the page number permalinks and I need to keep it like that until I
   figure out how to fix the permalink issue.

 * That permalink does not look right. Page number should be [http://www.tpankuch.com/?p=123](http://www.tpankuch.com/?p=123)
 * When you change permalinks does it write to the htaccess file? If not you will
   get a message.
