# 404 Error after event published

 * I am using your FREE version and have created a future event, but after I published
   the event, I am getting a 404 Error. I have removed all my caches (from my browser,
   etc.), changed the permalink a few times and yet it doesn’t seem to fix the problem.
   I have gone through your troubleshooting guide for possible issues such as plugin
   conflicts, themes, etc, but I can’t figure out how to resolve the issue. Please
   advise, thank you in advance.

 * I found out with Siteground support the many problems of The Event Calendar are
   because is not compatible with the new Guthenber release.

 * I ended up using another plugin to showcase events instead.
 * [@erishel](https://wordpress.org/support/users/erishel/), thanks for responding.
   I was using the latest version of The Events Calendar at the time and I did try
   using another theme like Twenty Nineteen and it still produced the same issue.
